We went to China with Coca-Cola...

China is a country that was not on my bucket list, but when I bid a trip for Coca-Cola my perception changed 180 degrees, that's when you understand that travel is culture and it opens your eyes.

I had heard a lot from people who had traveled, most of them negative things, the smells of the city, the education of the people, the food, etc. I do not know if I arrived with a very open mind not to be disappointed, but Shanghai is the future, I fell in love, I was impressed and without a doubt I would return without hesitation.

Generally one visualizes Shanghai as a mega modern city, infinite skyscrapers, technology to the maximum splendor and yes, it is, but at the same time it also has its enigmatic neighborhoods with European buildings of the nineteenth century and early twentieth century, its alleys with 100% local architecture dating from the fifteenth century or earlier, and all that eclectic combination of architecture make the city something exceptional.

The range of food that exists is immense and for all budgets, and most importantly it is very edible, from a visit to the local market, noddles stalls or even the myriad of Michelin star restaurants, each one has its own experience and its own particular touch.

I was impressed by the art museums and the government's initiative in promoting cultural centers, I was struck by the excess of luxury that exists in shopping malls, cars and lifestyle, knowing that China has major problems of poverty, but above all the nationalism and pride that the population has towards their country.

Shanghai is a city that changes daily, and I have no doubt that if I return I will find a completely different city but with the same essence that captivated me.

You have to live the best moments...!
