Itinerary

Day 1 - Saturday | Seoul
  • Depending on your arrival flight at Incheon airport, our representative will welcome you and give you the bus ticket in regular service (without guide) to get to the hotel.
  • Check in and rest of the day at leisure.
  • Overnight in Seoul.
Day 2 - Sunday : Seoul
  • Discovering The Megalopolis (Breakfast / Lunch)
  • After breakfast, meet your guide around 09:00 hrs at the hotel lobby.
  • Departure to enjoy a full day of exploring the capital of South Korea by Jihachul, the local subway.
  • Visit Gyeongbokgung Palace, this "shining palace of happiness" is one of the five palaces of the Choson (Joseon) dynasty and includes the Folklore Museum and its collection of artifacts of traditional Korean life.
  • Next, visit the Jogyesa Temple, one of the largest in the city and the center of the Jogyejong Buddhist Order, which promotes Zen meditation.
  • Tasting of a delicious bibimbap for lunch at a local restaurant.
  • In the afternoon, stroll through the Bukchon district. This district, nicknamed the "Village of the North", is home to some 900 traditional Korean houses and promises a unique cultural immersion in ancient Korea.
  • Afterwards, tour Insadong Street which is lined with antique shops and art galleries.
  • In the early afternoon, discover an amazing stage entertainment show ("Cooking' Nanta"). This non-verbal comedy, animated to the rhythm of cooking utensils, combines traditional, much more modern music, and cleverly blends the genres of comedy and drama.
  • At the end of the tour, return to the hotel.
  • Overnight in Seoul
Day 3 - Monday | Seoul - Gyeongju - Busan (Breakfast / Lunch)
  • After breakfast departure with guide by KTX train (2 hours) to Gyeongju, the spiritual and cultural capital of Korea.
  • There will be a city tour of what is known as the "Museum Without Walls". This ancient capital of the Shilla Kingdom was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000.
  • Visit of the Bulkugsa Temple (UNESCO), then the mound park dotted with the 23 tombs of the rulers of the Shilla Kingdom and their families and visit of the tomb of the "Celestial Horse". During the archaeological excavations, many treasures were discovered and are now on display.
  • Continue to visit the tombs of Noseo-dong before a final stop at the oldest observatory in the Far East, the Cheomseongdae Tower built in 634, where royal astronomers studied the movement of the stars and predicted the eclipses of the sun and moon.
  • In the afternoon, transfer by private vehicle (with guide) to Busan.
  • Overnight in Busan.
Day 4 - Tuesday | Busan (Breakfast / Lunch)
  • After breakfast, meet your guide and depart for a visit to the cultural village of Gamcheon, an ancient hillside neighborhood. Here, the houses were built by people fleeing the war, the last enclave during the Korean War. Today, it is an artistic village decorated with murals and sculptures created by residents. Stop at the United Nations Memorial Cemetery, unique in the world, in fact, it has been managed by the United Nations since 1960. This site pays tribute to the 37,895 members of the UN forces who died in the Korean War between 1950 and 1953.
  • Lunch at a local restaurant.
  • Afterwards, stroll through the international market, where all kinds of products are sold.
  • At the end of the tour, return to hotel.
  • Overnight in Busan
Day 5 - Wednesday | Busan - Seoul (Breakfast)
  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Transfer without guide by KTX train (2 hours 40 minutes) to Seoul. Upon arrival, transfer by bus or subway (without guide) and free time to relax or do your last shopping in the Korean capital.
  • Overnight in Seoul
Day 6 - Thursday | Seoul - Demilitarized Zone - Seoul (Breakfast / Lunch)
  • After breakfast, transfer by subway to the Président Hotel and depart for a day trip with a local guide to the Demilitarized Zone.
  • Located on both sides of the 38th parallel, this border was created at the end of the war in 1953, when the Panmunjeom armistice was signed to separate North Korea from South Korea.
  • Upon arrival, passport control followed by a brief briefing at the UN camp. Visit to the Dora Observatory and Dorasan Station. Discovery of Imjingak Park, including the Memorial, the Freedom Bridge and the Unification Bell.
  • At the end of the morning, visit to the third tunnel, excavated in the rock at a depth of 73 meters in a mini-train capable of moving a full division per hour with its guns.
  • Late lunch during the excursion.
  • In the afternoon, return to Seoul.
  • Overnight in Seoul.
Day 7 - Friday : Seoul (Breakfast)
  • Morning at leisure until transfer to Incheon airport by bus (without guide).
  • End of services.
