Day 1 : Arrival in Rome

Arrival in Rome. Reception and transfer to the hotel.

Free time to start discovering this wonderful and unique city. Meeting with your guide at 7:00 p.m. at the hotel reception.

Day 2 | Rome

Breakfast at the hotel.

In the morning panoramic tour of the Eternal City, highlighting the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, the Church of St. John Lateran, the Arch of Constantine and Colosseum, the Baths of Caracalla, the Circus Maximus and the Domus Flavia Augustana with a brief stop, the Capitol, Piazza Venezia, Tiber Island, Trastevere and Castel Sant'Angelo. At the end of the visit you will have free time for lunch, then meet your guide at the Pantheon area at the indicated time to continue walking around Piazza Navona & Piazza di Trevi and continue walking this charming city. Rest of the day at leisure to continue enjoying this charming capital city or take an optional visit.

Day 3 | Rome - Assisi - Siena - Florence

Breakfast at the hotel.

Travel north to Assisi, where St. Francis spent most of his life. Join our local guide for a tour of Assisi, highlighting the 13th century basilica, where you can see many of St. Francis' possessions and a number of frescoes.

We travel south to Siena, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where stunning Romanesque and Gothic architecture can be found around every corner. Walk through the narrow medieval streets on a guided tour. Learn about the local lifestyle of a contrada (neighborhood) whose community museum focuses on the colorful Palio horse race.

Continue to Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance and the beloved home of the Medici family, Galileo, Botticelli and da Vinci.

Day 4 | Florence

In the morning, you will discover the cultural treasures of Florence together with your local guide on a walking tour, where we will visit the Cathedral, Giotto's Tower, Baptistery with bronze doors to Porta do Paraiso, Ponte Vecchio, Mercato del Porcellino, etc.

Florence, cradle of the Renaissance, also known as the city of Michelangelo. Visit the city center, with the Bell Tower, the Baptistery and the Cathedral, an extraordinary ensemble of white, green and pink marble, which marks the transition of Florentine art from the Middle Ages to the Renaissance. We will make an external visit to the Duomo of Santa Maria del Fiore, symbol of the wealth and power of Florence during the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries, with the Dome of Brunelleschi that contrasts with the silhouette of the Bell Tower designed and initiated by Giotto, the Baptistery, a Roman building famous for its bronze doors, Piazza della Signoria, the Church of Santa Croce which is located in one of the oldest squares of the city.

Day 5 | Florence - Pisa - Lucca - Genoa

Breakfast at the hotel.

Visit to the ancient maritime Republic of Pisa to discover the Piazza Dei Miracoli and the famous Leaning Tower. A special stop will be made at a Tuscan winery and farm to enjoy the included lunch and taste wines and local specialties.

Discover the medieval town of Lucca, surrounded by 16th century Renaissance walls. Stroll with a local guide and delve into the city's Roman heritage and historic past. Enjoy free time to explore Piazza Napoleone.

We will continue our journey to the bustling port city of Genoa.

Day 6 | Cinque Terre - Portofino - Genoa

Breakfast at the hotel.

Spend the day exploring the colorful cliff-side villages of Cinque Terre with a local guide. Take in the picturesque, rugged coastline dotted with terraced vineyards as you travel by train. We'll make our way through this seemingly inaccessible chain of fishing villages, nestled between the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea.

In the afternoon, we will depart for Rapallo & Santa Margherita di Ligure to embark for Portofino, one of the most glamorous places on the Italian Riviera.

Free time to enjoy the colorful harbor, dotted with fishing boats and yachts against a backdrop of pastel-colored buildings.

Return to Genoa.

Day 7 | Genoa - Milano - Como

Breakfast at the hotel.

Morning departure to Milan. Arrival and panoramic tour of the heart of the capital of design. We will go to the Teatro alla Scala, a temple of world opera inaugurated in 1778. We will cross the majestic and world-famous Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the "salotto" of Milan, to marvel at its magnificent dome and iron and glass structure, and its passages filled with elegant stores and notable cafes.

Immediately after, we will discover the impressive Gothic-Renaissance style Cathedral (Duomo di Milano), made of pink marble and decorated with hundreds of pinnacles and realistic sculptures.

Free time for lunch.

Continuation to Como.

Day 8 | Como - Bellagia - Menaggio - Como

Breakfast at the hotel.

This morning, you will be taken to the shores of glamorous Lake Como. During the ferry ride to the attractive Bellagio, admire the endless succession of historic villas, lush gardens and colorful villages reflected in the blue waters of the lake.

Enjoy some free time to explore the charms of Bellagio before sailing to Menaggio.

Enjoy free time in Menaggio before returning to Como.

Day 9 | Como - Stresa - Isola Bella - Isola Pescatore

Breakfast at the hotel.

Enjoy a breathtaking setting during a cruise to Isola Bella, known as the "beautiful island". Here, an expert will guide you to Palazzo Borromeo, a lakeside Baroque beauty adorned with an exotic garden. Next, sail to Isola dei Pescatori, the most picturesque of the Borromean Islands.

Free time to explore this island.

Return to your hotel in Como.

Overnight.

Day 10 - Como - End of services
