Itinerary

Day 1: Buenos Aires

Arrival, assistance, and reception by our staff at Ezeiza Airport, followed by a private transfer to your selected hotel.

Day 2: Buenos Aires

Breakfast at the hotel.

In the morning, we’ll take a walking tour to learn a bit more about the city’s origins and history with the Walking Tour – Historic Neighborhoods: We’ll begin our tour at the Recova del Cabildo de Buenos Aires. Using Defensa Street as our central axis, we’ll provide an introduction to the old city of Santísima Trinidad, its architectural developments, its oldest churches, the markets, tango, tenement buildings, and antique shops. It’s a blend of architecture, history, and curiosities from one of Latin America’s most famous capitals. The cobblestone streets, Pasaje San Lorenzo, and Casa Mínima, the Mafalda monument, and the Viejo Almacén are some of the highlights. At the end of our tour, we’ll visit the San Telmo Market: a quintessentially Buenos Aires experience, featuring antiques, cuisine, and the best of the city’s culture. Free time for lunch (not included).

In the afternoon, we’ll explore the neighborhoods in the northern part of the city on a bike tour.

NORTH BUENOS AIRES

This is a tour that combines history and modernity. Puerto Madero and its two sides: on one hand, remnants of the city’s second and penultimate port alongside old docks converted into excellent restaurants, facing the buildings that are shaping up to be the most modern and tallest in Buenos Aires.

History returns in Retiro; Plaza San Martín reminds us of the epic deeds of the great Argentine hero, while serving as a hub for buses, cars, and pedestrians traveling to and from downtown Buenos Aires. We then tour the Recoleta neighborhood, with its French-style buildings, the striking cemetery, exclusive shops, museums, art galleries, and tree-lined parks that lead into Palermo. In addition to the green spaces, there are also spots that attest to the fact that the choice of this area by affluent families since the late 19th century remains alive today, with the expensive residences currently inhabited by the upper class.

Accommodation.

Day 3: Buenos Aires - Ushuaia

Breakfast at the hotel.

At the agreed time, private transfer to Jorge Newbery Airport to board the flight to Ushuaia (flight not included).

Upon arrival, assistance and reception by our staff at the airport, followed by a shared transfer to the selected hotel.

Day 4: Ushuaia

Breakfast at the hotel.

Departure from the hotel in the morning to enjoy Tierra del Fuego National Park with hiking and canoeing (including park entrance fee). A unique way to explore the National Park, which is one-of-a-kind for combining mountains and forests at sea level in the same location.

A unique experience where nature takes center stage and we are invited to discover it while always respecting the environment.

Early in the morning, we’ll be picked up at the hotel to head south; the National Park is located 12 km from the city, where we’ll spend 8 hours immersed in nature.

We invite you to explore on foot and in inflatable canoes through rivers, the sea, mountains, and forests. With specialized guides, you’ll get to know this unique Argentine paradise in detail and become part of a postcard-worthy landscape.

An unconventional tour: on this excursion, you’ll hike along designated forest trails and paddle across lakes and rivers, always accompanied by guides specialized in trekking. You’ll navigate the river and Lapataia Bay. Between these activities, there’s a stop to recharge and have lunch with the group.

Once finished, return to the hotel.

Day 5: Ushuaia - El Calafate

Breakfast at the hotel.

Free morning. Optional visit to the End of the World Museum or a hike on the Martial Glacier, offering spectacular views of Ushuaia and the Beagle Channel. Shared transfer to the airport for the flight to El Calafate (flight not included).

Arrival, assistance, and reception at the airport by our staff, followed by a regular transfer to the selected hotel.

Day 6: El Calafate

Breakfast at the hotel.

Mini-trekking on the Perito Moreno Glacier (including park entrance fee): Transfer from the hotel in El Calafate to the port located in the "Bajo las Sombras" bay—approximately 6 km before the Glacier Viewpoint—where you’ll board a boat to cross Lake Rico, arriving at the southwest shore after about 20 minutes to reach the glacier. Upon reaching the edge of the ice, the guides will fit participants with crampons and provide instructions on how to move safely on the ice. The glacier walk takes approximately 2 hours, during which you’ll see a variety of ice formations such as crevasses, seracs, sinkholes, small lagoons, and more.

The hike is moderate. The ice surface is uneven but firm and safe. You will receive explanations about the region’s flora, fauna, and general glaciology, as well as the specific phenomenon occurring on the Perito Moreno Glacier that eventually causes it to break off.

At the end of the tour, you will return to the lodge through the lush Magellanic forest.

A minibus is available for transportation from El Calafate for those who require this service. In this case, at the end of the excursion—and before returning to El Calafate—passengers will be taken to the Glacier Viewpoint and its walkways for a visit lasting approximately 1 hour.

All services are available daily, and bilingual mountain guides are on hand at the glacier at all times.
