In the morning city tour, we will start at the meeting point with the guide for a walking tour through the streets of the historic center of Madrid. We will discover emblematic places that you cannot miss during your visit to the city, such as Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol or Plaza de la Villa. After an hour's walk through the center of Madrid, we will board one of our air-conditioned buses for a tour of Madrid's most outstanding monuments. Starting at the Plaza de Oriente, we will have the opportunity to discover the history of the city as we walk through it. Did you know that the construction of the Puerta de Toledo dates back to the Napoleonic era? From the bus we will be able to contemplate the oldest bridge in Madrid, have spectacular views of the Royal Palace or see the Manzanares River. We will visit one of the most important streets of Madrid: La Gran Vía. As we head towards the Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas, we will pass by the Cibeles Fountain and the Puerta de Alcalá, the most famous of the five ancient gates that gave access to Madrid.

To finish the tour, we will pass by the Santiago Bernabeu, Real Madrid's stadium, which has recently been renovated. On the way back, we will pass by Serrano Street and Atocha Station, concluding in the parking lot of the Plaza de Oriente, just in front of the Royal Palace. Rest of the afternoon at leisure.

OPTIONAL TOLEDO:
Today you will have the opportunity to get to know the city of the 3 cultures. Meet your guide at the meeting point and depart by bus to Toledo. You will have the opportunity to learn about its history and discover a perfect blend of Arab, Jewish and Christian cultures. Walk through the old town, declared a World Heritage Site in 1986. Discover why more than 2000 years of existence have given the city the great historical importance it has. It was once the capital of Spain. You will learn about its fantastic heritage and discover how the coexistence of the three cultures through the centuries influenced its current architectural style. Follow your guide through Toledo's cobblestone streets to the Cathedral. Built on the remains of an ancient Moorish mosque, it was built during the 13th century and is today one of the most important Gothic cathedrals in Spain. Admire the details of its facade and the great bell tower before entering. Visit its interior and sacristy, full of works of art, where you will find fifteen works by El Greco. You will have a short free time to explore Toledo on your own before returning to Madrid. Rest of the afternoon at leisure.

Board your train to Malaga, where you will continue your unforgettable experience to the Mediterranean coast. Leaving Madrid, you will see the cityscapes of the city and its suburban surroundings. As the train moves away from the city, buildings and residential areas give way to more rural areas. Moving south, the train passes through the Meseta Central, a vast highland region. Here, the landscape is characterized by wide plains and fields of crops, especially cereals. The train crosses the Sierra Morena, a mountain range that separates the Central Plateau from Andalusia. On this part of the journey, you will enjoy views of hills and valleys covered with Mediterranean vegetation. Arriving in Malaga, you will see the change to a more Mediterranean landscape. The city of Malaga, with its port and beaches, offers views of the sea and the mountains. The Sierra de Mijas and other nearby reliefs also add a mountainous touch to the surroundings. Welcome to the birthplace of the artist Pablo Picasso. Discover the port city of Malaga with a local guide. Walk through the colorful market stalls and learn about the history and culture of this coastal community. Meet a local from the Brotherhood of the Sepulcher to learn about the importance of religious brotherhoods to the local culture. Then stop at a local winery to sample some tapas. Free evening to continue visiting the nooks and crannies of this wonderful city.

Today drive to Granada, the last Moorish capital of Spain before it fell into the hands of the Catholic Monarchs in 1492. Spend the morning with a local expert visiting the Alhambra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known as one of the wonders of the Muslim. World. After your extensive morning tour of this centuries-old palace and fortress complex, enjoy free time in Granada for lunch on your own. Later, return to your hotel to spend the night as you wish.

Drive to the picturesque white villages of Andalusia. Frigiliana, considered one of the most beautiful villages in the region, will make you feel as if you have stepped back in time. See its whitewashed houses and historic sites as you walk through the narrow cobblestone streets.

Travel to the town of Nerja and explore its famous caves, home to one of the largest stalactites in the world. In Nerja visit the Balcon de Europa, a balcony in the center of town with breathtaking views of the sea. Return to Malaga, where you may choose to join your Tour Manager on a stroll along the marina at sunset with a sweet surprise: the perfect way to say goodbye to Malaga.

Next stop: Ronda, a historic city perched on a cliff in Andalusia. Explore the old town full of narrow, winding streets, the 18th century Puente Nuevo bridge over the El Tajo gorge and La Alameda park with its panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. During your walking tour, get the local perspective on the often debated topic of bullfighting in this historically rich city. We will also visit one of the famous white villages, where you will marvel at its beauty. Complete your tour of Ronda and be welcomed at the home of a local to enjoy lunch at home. Arrive in Cordoba and finish the day with dinner at a local restaurant with your fellow travelers.

Start the day immersed in the culture of Cordoba as you admire the rows of courtyards filled with colorful flowers and plants. Meet with a local to discuss the tradition and importance of these abundant displays. Afterwards, tour the magnificent Mezquita (UNESCO). Originally built as a mosque, it became the city's cathedral when the Christians conquered the region in 1236.

Your taste for local culture continues today, literally. Head to an award-winning olive grove and learn about this family business. Sample their unique olive oil during lunch before departing from Fort Seville, the "cultural capital" of Spain. Once you arrive, get to know Seville on a panoramic city tour that includes the famous Plaza de Toros, Torre de Oro, Plaza de España and Maria Luisa Park. This evening, enjoy panoramic views of Seville from the top of the Mirador Setas. Once you have worked up an appetite, you will sit down to dinner at a trendy local restaurant.

In Seville we will take a walking tour of the picturesque Santa Cruz district, with its cascades of bright flowers, whitewashed buildings and winding streets. Then, discover the magnificent Seville Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest Gothic cathedral in the world. See the cathedral's ornate architecture and contemplate the tomb of Christopher Columbus. In the late afternoon enjoy an included traditional flamenco show.

Say goodbye to Spain and travel through the Portuguese countryside to Estremoz, a historic town whose marble can be found in Portuguese monuments throughout the country. After a lunch full of local flavor, continue on to Lisbon. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure to do as you wish.

Hello Lisbon! It's time to get to know the second oldest capital of Europe. Start in Belem, home to many of Lisbon's most emblematic sites. After seeing the impressive facade of the Jerónimos Monastery (UNESCO), embark on a unique panoramic tour of the city. Hop aboard one of Lisbon's iconic streetcars that will take you through the postcard-worthy streets of the mountainous city. Return to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day to explore independently. Tonight, you may choose to join an optional experience to watch local artists perform traditional Fado music (UNESCO).

We drive to the town of Sintra (UNESCO), a favorite summer residence of Portuguese kings for six centuries. Then, we will stop at a local bakery and indulge in a local cake before enjoying some free time to discover this fairytale town. Continue to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of Europe. Continue to Cascais. The mansions scattered throughout Cascais and Monte Estoril tell the story of this area's history as a refuge for exiled European royalty and nobility. Enjoy the last night in Lisbon.
